As always, we hope you are all keeping safe and well as we prepare to enter into a second and hopefully short lockdown through November.
Having reviewed the guidance and consulted with UK Gymnastics it is with regret that we will unfortunately have to close our doors once more during November.
Whilst the lockdown rules do not come into place fully until Thursday we have taken the difficult decision to close immediately will be cancelling all classes with immediate effect. This does mean that classes on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday this week (2nd/3rd/4th November) will not go ahead.
All of the Star-Tastic Team have worked incredibly hard over recent months to ensure we can deliver safe, fun and competitive classes that are fully COVID secure. As we have said previously the way that your children have adapted to this new approach is remarkable and we are incredibly proud of each and every single one of them.
I will keep you updated regularly but we plan to reopen fully on or around the 3rd December in line with government guidance.
All sessions missed will be accrued as catch up hours and logged on our system for you. We will provide Christmas (government guidance allowing), February Half Term and Summer camps enabling you to use these hours owed to you. During the holidays when we are quieter you can also use these catch ups for extra one off classes.
We will also be running an online Zoom timetable again for all classes, we will include classes for our internal beam competition in readiness for when we return, we hope you will join us. There will be lots of opportunities to win Medals in our online classes too!
We will be taking bookings for Zoom 1-1s again too. You can choose to use catch up hours for Zoom 1-1’s also. Please email us for more info.
Don’t forget you can access your badges online via Lovegymnastics which enables you to see what badges and skills you are working on. We also have homework sheets with tips and helpful advice for how to do these moves. During the last lockdown we sent out so many badges for everyone who passed by sending us videos or during zoom 1-1’s.
Thank you as always for all your continued support. It means the absolute world to us. We all look forward to welcoming your children back in December.
